  My wife died in 2007 and it has taken me this long to calmly write this. I used drowns funeral service in the process I had an obituary wrote up and the staff let my wife's father and step mother rewrite the obituary and send it in to the paper. Considering my wife's father and step mother disowned my wife and didn't want anything to do with her. This infuriated me and even more these people that made the changes weren't even paying for the funeral I was. So I don't recommend.

  A FAMILY WHO IS MOURNING THE LOSS OF A MOTHER OR ANY FAMILY MEMBER FOR THAT MATTER SHOULD NEVER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCEA HAVE TO SIT IN A COURT ROOM AND BE SUED BY AN INCOMPASSIONATE FUNERAL HOME FOR SERVICE OF THAT MOTHER OR FAMILY MEMBER.
  
  IM NOT INTO BASHING ANYONE BUT THIS IS AN EXCEPTION TO SAY THE LEAST I ASSURE YOU.
  
  IF ANY OF YOU LOSE A FAMILY MEMBER, GOD FORBID, DO NOT CHOOSE BROWNS FUNERAL SERVICE. ME AND MY SISTER JUST SAT IN DURANT COUNTY COURT FOR 2.5 HOURS WHILE BROWNS FUNERAL SERVICE WAS SUING 75+ PEOPLE FOR LACK OF PAYMENT! ARE YOU KIDDING ME! YEAH WE WILL PAY YOU BUT THE PRINCIPLE OF THE MATTER IS THAT WHEN WE MADE THIS AGREEMENT WITH YOU WE WERENT BUYING HOUSE OR BUYING A CAR WE WERE TRYING TO MOURN AND MEMORIALIZE OUR DECEASED MOTHER.
  
  A FUNERAL SERVICE SHOULD BE DRIVEN FIRST AND FOREMOST BY GOD, COMPASSION, EMPATHY, HUMILITY, FAITH, GRACE AND MERCY. NOT ONLY WAS MY MOTHERS SERVICE A CIRCUS COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL IT WAS LACKING EVERY BIT OF THESE VIRTUES!!!! HOW DARE YOU SUE US. WHEN WE MADE THIS AGREEMENT ME AND SARA HAD NEVER HAD TO ARRANGE A FUNERAL BEFORE LET ALONE OUR OWN MOTHERS. WE WERE HEART BROKEN FILLED WITH DESPAIR SORROW ANGER PAIN EVERYTHING YOU CAN IMAGINE.
  
  4 MONTHS LATER WE ARE FOUND IN COURT SURROUNDED BY PEOPLE WHO WERE BEING SUED AS WELL FOR THE EXACT SAME REASON.

  A MAN WAS CALLED FORTH BECAUSE WE WAS SUED BY BROWNS FOR 5000$ FOR THE DEATH AND SERVICE OF HIS 9 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER. HOW DARE YOU BROWNS FUNERAL SERVICE. HOW DARE YOU. ALL I HAVE TO SAY IS THAT THE FAMILY OF THAT LITTLE GIRL IS TAKING THE CASE TO TRIAL AND I HOPE THEY WIN!
  
  MY HEART RIGHT NOW IS FILLED WITH ANGER TOWARDS AN EVENT THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO HONOR MY MOTHER INSTEAD ALL I HAVE ARE MEMORIES OF ANGER AND HATRED TOWARDS THIS EVENT. I PRAY BROWNS FUNERAL SERVICE FINDS GOD IN THEIR BUSINESS OR THEY SHUT DOWN AND LET SOMEONE ELSE WHO IS LED BY GOD TO SERVICE THE MOURNING FAMILIES OF TEXOMA. THATS ALL I HAVE TO SAY.
